Mayor Rolando T. Celebre of the municipality of Jaro, Leyte delivers his “ULAT SA BAYAN” in a joint session of the Sangguniang Bayan and the Liga ng mga Barangay Sa pilipinas Jaro Chapter during the town’s 163rd founding anniversary celebration last December 10, 2014.
Mayor Celebre is one of the few local government chief executives in region 8 who regularly render report on the accomplishments of his administration particularly on the utilization of local funds and the implementation of the municipal wide development projects.
Highlights of the “Ulat Sa Bayan” are the accomplishments on the typhoon “Yolanda” reconstruction and rehabilitation efforts, the conferment of the “Seal of Good Housekeeping Award” (bronze Category) by the DILG and the implementation of various barangay development projects.
Aside from the local government officials and other government functionaries, the said event was also attended by barangay official, students, and sectoral representatives.
