Tacloban City – As we fondly remember the memories of our brothers and sisters who perished during the onslaught of Super Typhoon Yolanda one year ago today, isumat news team visited the grave sites were their mortal remains were laid to rest.
First to be visited is the Mass grave at Holy Cross Memorial Garden at Barangay Basper Tacloban City were a memorial mass was celebrated with His Excellency John F. Du Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Palo as the main Celebrant with other priests from the diocese as co-celebrants.
The names of the victims who were reported and registered as either missing or dead are written in a tarpaulin billboard at the entrance of the mass grave.
