The on-going rehabilitation of the Leyte Provincial Police Office building that was damaged by typhoon Yolanda costs 2.8 million pesos. Police Senior Superintindent Brigido Basio Unay the provincial director said that additional funds of 500,000 pesos is being allocated to rehabilitate the director’s quarters and the the chapel located at the back of the provincial command office building. The source of funds according to Unay is from the yolanda rehabilitation fund provided by the national government to the PNP regional command to effect the repair and rehabilitatio of PNP structures damaged by the typhoon.
