Catarman, Northern Samar – Anti- drug element s from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office VIII and Northern Samar PPO Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group (PAIDSOTG) arrested a female drug personality during a buy-bust operation at Room 309 Riverview hotel, Catarman Northern Samar on February 11, 2015 at around 10:00 AM in the morning.
PDEA RO VIII Officer-in-Charge Director Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspect as Carcilia Sedanza y Torres, 34 years old, married, and a resident of Brgy. Baybay Gamay, Northern Samar.
Sedanza was caught selling suspected shabu and seized from her possession one (1) piece large plastic sachet and four (4) pieces medium sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing more or less 8 grams, with an estimated market value of sixty four thousand pesos (Php 64,000.00).
The suspect will be charge for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Sedanza is temporarily detained at Catarman Police Station Lock-up facility.
