Guiaun, Eastern Samar – Anti-drug operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office VIII and Guiaun Municipal Police Station, Eastern Samar PAIDSOTF arrested two targeted drug personality during a buy-bust operation on March 12, 2015 at Brgy. 4A, Guiaun Eastern Samar at around 03:30 PM.
PDEA RO VIII Officer-in-Charge Director Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspects as Maria Chery Dumlao y Chua, 41 years old, single, and Domingo Basio y Parado, 31 years old, single, both residents of Guiaun, Eastern Samar
Dumlao was caught selling two (2) pieces medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, when frisked the suspect yielded six (6) medium sachets of suspected shabu with a total estimated market value of fifty six thousand pesos (Php56,000.00) weighing MOL seven (7) grams and various drug paraphernalia. On the other hand, seized from Basio’s possession one (1) piece small sachet of suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Dumlao will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 12 (Possession of the Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous drugs) Article II of R.A 9165 while Basio will be charged for violation of Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 12 (Possession of the Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous drugs) Article II of R.A 9165
