According to the latest information gathered by isumat.com revealed that Albuera Mayor Rolando Espinosa ang Raul Yap died in the hands of CIDG operatives when they allegedly resisted the conduct of a search that resulted in a firefight at their prison cell.
CIDG operatives were supposed to serve the search warrant issued by Basey Regional Trial Court Judge Tarcelo Sabarre on the allegation that Espinosa is keeping a handgun and in the possession of illegal drugs while detained at the Baybay Sub Provincial Jail.
Recovered from the crime scene is a handgun and undetermined amount of shabu.
Espinosa suffered multiple gunshot wounds that resulted to his death according to media reports.
The Hard drive of the CCTV camera is missing and allegedly it is now in the possession of CIDG.
