CATBALOGAN CITY, (PIA) — Samar’s Lara brand bagged the Best Product Design award in the fashion design category at the recently concluded 69th Edition of the Manila FAME Katha Awards held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City, April 27.
The best product design winners were chosen based on their product’s overall aesthetics (20%), function (30%), materials innovation (15%), and product innovation (35%).
Lara’s Amon Collection was featured in the said event wherein the Tamsi (bird) banig bag was nominated for the Katha Awards. Amon which means “ours” featured the endemic birds found in the Province of Samar.
