TACLOBAN CITY- Authorities seized 175 grams of suspected “shabu” estimated to be worth over P1.3 million in a buy-bust operation Wednesday at Baranggay 88 Fisherman Village in the said city.
Police arrested 37 year-old suspected drug dealer Joel Malazarte, a resident of Brgy Dulho Bato Leyte.
12 medium heat sealed sachets and another 2 small heat sealed of suspected shabu were confiscated from the suspect as well as 500 marked money, cellphone and drug paraphernalia.
According to the PSSupt Rolando Bade, City Director of Tacloban City Police Office, Malazarte was a surrender of Oplan Double Barrel.
The suspect will face charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
