Tacloban City – A 27-year old male drug personality was arrested by anti-drug operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Tacloban City Police Office-CAIDSOTF, Tacloban City Police Office-Station2 during a buy-bust operation at Brgy. 66 Paseo de Legaspi, Tacloban City on April 15, 2015.
PDEA Regional Office VIII Officer-in-Charge Dir. Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspect as Regin Valle y Abud, single and a resident Brgy. 66, Paseo de Legaspi, Tacloban City.
At around 08:30 AM, joint elements of PDEA Regional Office 8 and Tacloban City Police Office-CAIDSOTF, Tacloban City Police Office-Station2 conducted a buy-bust operation which resulted to the arrest of the suspect. He was caught selling suspected shabu and found in his possession and control were fifteen (15) pcs. heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing MOL 2.8125 grams with an estimated market value of twenty two thousand five hundred pesos ( Php 22,500.00) and various drug paraphernalia.
Valle is temporarily detained at Tacloban City Police Office Lock-up Facility. He will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165.
In another operation, A 31-year old male drug personality and cohorts were arrested by anti-drug operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) RO VIII and Calbayog City Police Station-CAIDSOTF during a buy-bust operation at Hour’s Apartelle, Purok 3, Brgy. Payahan, Calbayog City on April 14, 2015.
PDEA Regional Office VIII Officer-in-Charge Dir. Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspects as Saipoding Minandang y Atomar @ “Oding”, married, businessman, resident of Purok 2, Brgy. Payahan, Calbayog City. Likewise the cohorts Delio Diaz y Aniban, 31 years old, married, resident of Purok 1, Brgy. Carmen, Calbayog City; and Warren Catalan y Gavist, 32 years old, married, resident of Purok 3, Brgy. East Awang, Calbayog City, Samar.
At around 02:05 PM, joint elements of PDEA Regional Office 8 and Calbayog City Police Station-CAIDSOTF conducted a buy-bust operation which resulted to the arrest of the suspects. Minandang was caught selling one (1) pc. heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu. Found and seized in Minandang and cohort’s possession and control were two (2) pcs. heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and various drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are temporarily detained at Calbayog City Police Station Lock-up Cell. Minandang will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165. Likewise the cohorts Diaz and Catalan will be charged for violation of Section 26 (Attempt or Conspiracy), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165.
