TACLOBAN CITY, Leyte, (PIA) – In order to improve the quality of service rendered by the government personnel to its clientele, the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Office VIII is currently spearheading the conduct of a couple of trainings this month of August.

CSC bared that on August 11-12, 2014, “Basic Customer Service Skills” training will be conducted with a training fee of Two Thousand Four Hundred Pesos (P2,400). The training, which is designed to develop an excellent customer-focused service culture in the organization, has the frontline service providers in the first and second levels as its target clientele.

On the other hand, it was learned that the “Appointments and Treasurers” training, which is scheduled on August 26-27, 2014, has a training fee of Two Thousand Four Hundred Pesos (P2,400.00).

According to CSC, Human Resource Management Officers, Budget Officers and accountants and those performing in personnel administration are targeted to undergo in said training.

It was bared that the training is designed to orient and deepen the awareness of the participants’ duties and responsibilities particularly in obligating and certifying LWOP and in the computation of monetization, among others.

Relative to this, the Civil Service Commission is inviting the above mentioned qualified personnel to participate in the said trainings. (AJC/MAA/PIA-8)
