Tacloban, City – Anti-drug operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office VIII conducted a buy-bust operation on March 06, 2015 at around 10:00 PM in the evening, the suspect managed to elude arrest.
PDEA RO VIII Officer-in-Charge Director Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspect as Pedro Ampatin Jr. y Sabusap alyas “Jun Tipos”, of legal age, married, Brgy. Kagawad and a resident of Brgy. 37 Seawall, Tacloban City
The suspect was caught selling two (2) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.
Ampatin will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) Article II of R.A 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. The search for the suspect continues.
