Laoang, Northern Samar – Anti-drug operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Regional Office VIII and Laoang Municipal Police Station arrested a drug personality during a buy-bust operation on March 24, 2015 at Laoang, Northern Samar at around 06:00 PM.
PDEA RO VIII Officer-in-Charge Director Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspect as Roberto Adane alyas “Boyet”, 54 years old, married, resident of Brgy. Onay, Laoang Northern Samar.
Adane was caught selling suspected shabu. Seized from his possession and control were four (4) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and various drug paraphernalia.
The suspect will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs) Article II of R.A 9165
The suspect is now temporarily detained at Laoang Police Lock-up Facility.
