Tacloban City – Eastern Visayas Token Shop opened in Tacloban City to cater to visiting foreign and domestic tourists.
Located at the ground floor of the Astrodome/Tacloban Convention Center building, PRODUCT-8 sells native products of region 8.
It’s a one region, one Eastern Visayas shop that showcases products and tourist destinations of the region.
Most items sold came from EV indigenous materials and produced by Yolanda/Haiyan survivors.
In an interview, EV Regional Development Council (RDC) Chair Mayor Cristina G. Romualdez who strongly pushes tourism programs of the region, enjoins tourist globally and domestically who intend to visit Tacloban City and other Tourist destinations in Eastern Visayas to drop by the pasalubong center and bring home with them tokens of Sinirangan Otso.

Product 8 sells indigenous floor & bed mats, table placemats, furniture & wall frames; table and jewelry accessories; food stuff; delicacies; locally made wines (the famous Tuba, coconut wine); condiments and spices which sooth waray-waray palate; key chains; fans and many more.
