A 35-year old male high value targeted drug dealer was arrested by anti-drug elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Allen Municipal Police Station, NSPPO PIB, PAIDSOTF during a buy-bust operation at Kinabranan Lodge, Brgy. Kinabranan, Allen Northern Samar on April 09, 2015.
PDEA Regional Office VIII Officer-in-Charge Dir. Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspect as Marvin Gubat y Ybanez, married, Security Guard of Allen District Hospital and a resident of Sitio Kanlong-kanlong, Brgy. Jubasan, Allen Northern Samar.
At around 12:30 NN, joint operatives of PDEA Regional Office 8 and Allen Municipal Police Station, NSPPO PIB, PAIDSOTF conducted a buy-bust operation which resulted to the arrest of the suspect. He was caught selling one (1) pc. heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu. Subsequently after the buy-bust operation, the operatives implemented Search Warrant against the suspect, found in his possession and control were two (2) pcs. heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and various drug paraphernalia.
Gubat is temporarily detained at Allen Police Station Lock-up facility. He will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165.
Meanwhile, A 42-year old male high value targeted drug hawker was arrested by anti-drug elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Barugo Municipal Police Station, LPPO-PAIDSOTG during a buy-bust operation at Arellano St., Barugo Leyte on April 09, 2015.
PDEA Regional Office VIII Officer-in-Charge Dir. Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspect as Denise Nelson Tiu y Romano, single, JO employee of Barugo LGU and a resident of District 3, Barugo Leyte.
At around 06:40 PM, joint operatives of PDEA Regional Office 8 and Barugo Municipal Police Station, LPPO-PAIDSOTG conducted a buy-bust operation which resulted to the arrest of the suspect. He was caught selling suspected shabu and found in his possession and control were four (4) pcs. heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet suspected to be shabu, and various drug paraphernalia.
Tiu is temporarily detained at PDEA RO VIII Detention Facility. He will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs), and Section 12 (Possession of Equipment, Instrument, Apparatus and Other Paraphernalia for Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165.
