A 28-year old male drug pusher was arrested by joint anti-drug elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and Calbiga Municipal Police Station, Samar Police Provincial Office-PAIDSOTG during the conduct of buy-bust operation in Brgy. Polangi, Calbiga Samar on March 27, 2015.
PDEA Regional Office VIII Officer-in-Charge Dir. Laurefel P. Gabales identified the suspect as Randy Ocasla y Nardo @ “Pedot”, single, and a resident of Brgy. Polangi, Calbiga Samar.
At around 12:10 noon, joint operatives of PDEA Regional Office 8 and Calbiga Municipal Police Station, Samar Police Provincial Office-PAIDSOTG conducted buy-bust operation and resulted to the suspect’s arrest. Ocasla was caught selling one (1) pc. heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet suspected to be shabu.
Ocasla is temporarily detained at Calbiga Municipal Police Station Lock-up cell. He will be charged for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Article II of RA 9165.
