TACLOBAN CITY – At least four media personnel based in Samar were hurt in a vehicular accident along the Maharlika Highway in Sitio Geratigan, Brgy. Bayho, Lope de Vega town, Northern Samar, at about 9:45 pm on May 26.
According to police, victims identified were: 
1. Danilo Sanchez, 47 yrs old, married, driver and a resident of zone 3, UEP, Catarman, N. Samar.
2. Tito Tepace, 51yrs old, married, journalist, resident of zone 3, UEP, catarman, nsamar,
3. Mike Paul Marquez, 22yrs old, single, journalist, resident of brgy. Yakal, catarman, nsamar,
4. Maria Reynalyn Pajamutan, 28yrs old, married, resident of zone 1, UEP, catarman, nsamar
Reports said, the vehicle driven by the above named driver, while traversing the national highway from Tacloban City en route to Catarman accidentally rammed the rear portion of a parked steam roller.
Further, the driver admitted that he failed to notice the parked steam roller ahead.
Victims incurred physical injuries and were immediately brought to Northern Samar Provincial Hospital for medical attention. (isumat.com)
