Tacloban City – DILG  Secretary Mel Senen Sarmiento leads the turn over ceremony of 40 brand new Mahindra parol cars to different police offices in the province of Leyte.

Present during the simple turn over ceremony held on Thursday  at the DZR Aiport were the respective mayors and the Chief of Police of the 40 municipalities in Leyte headed by Leyte Governor Leopoldo Dominico Petilla and Javier Leyte Mayor and L eague of Municipalities National president Sandy Javier.

Secretary Sarmiento in his speech said that the new patrol cars will further enhance the law enforcement capability of every police force in the province of Leyte.

The Mahindra patrol car is made in  india with a tag price of 1.5 Million per unit.
